Pat Conroy and Censorship

November 2, 2007

Parents in Charleston, West Virginia have been campaigning to suppress the teaching of two of Pat Controy’s novels, The Prince of Tides and Beach Music. In response, Pat has written a wonderful letter about the dangers of censorship.

Check availability of Pat Conroy books at Fiction Addiction.

BTW, for those out there who enjoy both the novels of Pat Conroy and John Grisham, I highly recommend The King of Lies by John Hart.
